o This may sound strange but that is likely because of how we view the word “joy.”
· When ye fall into diverse temptations
o When we find ourselves surrounded by the multitude trials of life.
o We might think of David in Psalm 3.
§ (Psalm 3:1-2) – Surrounded but take note of where he turns.
§ (Psalm 3:3-6).
§ How could David say such a thing?
§ He placed his trust in God and allowed that to fill him with joy.
o This is the attitude we ought to hold when we face trials.
