Wayne has served as the pulpit minister for the University church of Christ in San Marcos, Texas since May, 2007. Wayne graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 1996 as the top Academic student. He is married to the former Shana Kaye Spacek. Together, they have four children, Hannah, Ashlyn, Bailey, and Karsyn. Wayne has also preached locally in Luxora, AR, Newbern, TN and Southaven, MS. He has worked extensively in Christian youth camp serving as a counselor and/or director for eleven years at Sardis Lake Christian Camp in Sardis, MS. Wayne’s father (David B. Jones), father-in-law (Ricky Spacek) and brother-in-law (Daniel F. Cates) are also Gospel Preachers. Wayne serves as the director of Focal Point – an annual preacher’s workshop held at the University church of Christ church building in San Marcos.
