Answer: · These terms did not exist when some translations of the Bible came to be. · Depression was known as melancholia. o It came to be through an excess of “black bile” in the body. o This view faded in the 18th century. · The writings of Cicero (predates the New Testament) has a term called angor. o This comes very close to what we know as modern-day anxiety. · Furthermore, we have covered various examples of those who suffered from the modern definition of depression.We want to hear from you!
