Race is a subject which has divided people for far too long. o Despite the claims that racism is a thing of the past, the evidence shows otherwise. o 2015: Charleston Church Shooting o 2019: A sign commemorating Emmett Till had to be replaced with a bullet proof sign. o Do we really need to talk about recent events? · When introducing something, we might try to define it. There’s a problem or so. o The Bible speaks of one race (Acts 17:26). o The second problem is how we base race. o The third reason is based on genetic studies. o Scientifically, it is almost impossible to really say someone is a specific race. · How will we define it? o Preference.
