Under the Juniper Tree Season 11, Episode 1 for Thursday, January 9, 2020

V.1-7 — Shows the difference between God and man o God is immortal while man is not. o The imagery given by Moses is that of God cutting man down. Sounds a bit harsh until we realize v.8. · v. 9-11 — We may live long lives — Willard Scott, Smuckers Jam, and people living over 100. o Even if we live that long our days are still numbered. o We have no reason to be prideful of our age. · v. 12 — This is the key verse. Live each day like tomorrow we will enter eternity. · v. 13-17 — Pleading forgiveness for the Israelites. What does this have to do with the podcast? o I think it is important to remember that despite our problems, we should turn our minds to the wisdom of God. o Our time on this earth is finite and one day we will leave time to enter eternity.
