Dan and Robert address this question that was submitted by a listener: Can something be authorized/commanded in “corporate” worship (first day of the week we are commanded to come together and worship)but be okay to do something different outside “corporate” worship. For example in the law of Christ we sing only with our voices. Outside the “corporate” worship may one sing religious songs with instrumental music, for example listening to religious song that has instruments of music and I sing along with it?
