In Colossians 4:5-6, Paul tells us how to prevent hurtful words from passing through our lips:

We have a responsibility to SEIZE every moment (Col. 4:5).

•  “Redeeming the time”

We have a responsibility to SEEK the lost (Col. 4:5).

• “Those who are outside”

We have a responsibility to SHOW Jesus in our actions (Col. 4:5).

• “Walk in wisdom”

When Jesus is shown in our actions, we will be motivated to seek the lost and seize every moment! This will be chiefly evident in the way we SPEAK.
