“Blessed are the Persecuted” (Ready to Worship S14E8)

This season on Ready to Worship we are considering the attitude that we are to have in worship. As you know, one of the requirements of true worship is that it be in spirit or with the right attitude (John 4:23-24). This season we will analyze and adjust our attitudes by examining the beatitudes of the Bible. This week we will consider Matthew 5:10-12:

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
