“I Fell At His Feet” (Ready to Worship S13E3)

This season on Ready to Worship we are examining what John saw and said about worship in the book of Revelation. In this installment of our study, we are examining the occasion when John saw the Lord. We read, “And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last” (Rev. 1:17). When John saw Jesus, he fell at His feet. In fact, he fell at Jesus’ feet as dead. John was clearly overwhelmed by what he heard and saw on that Lord’s day. Although we are not going to see or hear the Lord as John did, we should still fall at His feet each Lord’s day in worship.
