Mike Vestal is back again this week for part 2 of our discussion on preaching from the Old Testament. Having established the value and purpose of preaching from the Old Testament on last week’s episode, this episode focuses on what Mike calls “homiletic bungee jumping.” Mike says, “If you’re having trouble preaching from the Old Testament, look at the passage and ask two primary questions. What does this passage teach me about God? What does this passage say about man and his relationship with God?”
