When the children of God in the Old Testament were looking at entering the Promised Land, there was specific instructions given regarding their identity and the actions associated with such. Because God was their Lord and He is holy, they were also to be holy…even in a culture where that meant they would be weird. In the New Testament, God’s children – Christians – are also called to be holy. Purity fits into this discussion and this call. Once we understand our identity, it makes so much more sense as to why our lives are to be pure, not simple to have moments of purity. In this episode, Joe discusses this very issue and offers practical advise on how we can be intentional about purity.
