Over the past few months, I have heard on two separate occasions that teens in the Lord’s Church have been playing a game called “SMASH.” This has nothing to do with Super Mario Bros; instead, it’s a game where someone calls out a person’s name, and those in the group respond with “SMASH!” if they would like to engage in immoral behavior with that person. I was so disheartened when I found out this was happening; however, I could either stay disheartened or seek help. In this episode, Joe and Erin discuss the subject of compartmentalized Christianity and the dangers this view of one’s relationship with God creates.
