In Hebrews 5:1-14 we are reminded that no one chooses to become a high priest. They must be called by God. Jesus, like the Aaronic priesthood did not make Himself a high priest, but was made a high priest by His Father. Being a high priest after the order of Melchizedek, He is qualified to save all those who obey Him. Though the Hebrews author desired to say more about Melchizedek, he had to restrain himself because the Hebrews had become “dull of hearing.” In a section full of doctrinal and practical insight, join Hiram and Forest as the discuss how God is magnified in Hebrews 5:1-14.We want to hear from you!
