“Rooted in Christ” (God Magnified S3E18)

The Colossian Christians were struggling with an influx of false ideas. Human traditions and human philosophy were all around them and many of them were tempted to join the ranks of those who seemed more “spiritual.” In this context, Paul reminded the Christians that they were rooted, built up in, and established in Christ (Phil. 2:7). Though this seems like a simple concept, the fact that Christians are rooted in Christ gives them the ability to overcome those who seek to “disqualify” them (Col. 2:18).
