The ultimate example of humility is Jesus Christ, but Paul gives three other examples of how the mind of Christ looks in action. First, there is the example of Paul himself, then the example of Timothy, then lastly the example of Epaphroditus. Though not a well-known figure in the early church, Epaphroditus is immortalized in the Scriptures as a man who was fully devoted to the cause of Christ. In fact, following Jesus’ footsteps, he laid it all on the line for his faith. Christians today should be looking for opportunities to do likewise.
