This letter was penned not long before Paul’s death and it was for the expressed purpose of empowering Timothy to be a courageous and bold leader. These two episodes highlight seven primary themes of this powerful and intimate letter. These seven principles should not be left in the past, but they should be embraced and implemented by leaders in God’s church today.
