“Kingdom Builders” (Authentically Adam S5E2)

God’s initial instruction to man included the right and obligation to rule over the creation (Genesis 1:28). Yet, man was not satisfied with the authority and rights he was given and quickly overreached in his authority. This decision ruined a perfect creation and a close connection with his Creator. Yet, man still posses the drive to reign and rule. In the generations that have followed those garden moments, man has struggled to rule and with his relationship with God.

 

This week Wayne discusses the sinful results of seeking to rule without submission. Yes, we are builders, but not of our kingdoms. We are called to build His kingdom. We encourage preachers, elders, fathers, and husbands to pay close attention to God’s expectations. We were made to have dominion, but also to follow. If we do not follow that pattern and we let our pride rule our hearts, we will suffer and so will those that we lead.
