Jesus talked a lot about stewardship during his ministry. In this episode, we highlight four things Jesus said that are recorded in Luke 12. Then, we discuss how we can live those things out.
The passages we review are:
- Luke 12:1 – “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”
- Luke 12:6-7 – “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
- Luke 12:15 – “Take care and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
- Luke 12:35 – “Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning.”
