- Queen Elizabeth said she never aspired to being the longest reigning monarch, and yet that’s exactly what has happened. The same will not happen to members of God’s royal family, though. We will not get to heaven by chance. We will not get to heaven by simply wandering in that direction. Instead, heaven comes only when our greatest aspiration is to do God’s will.
