“What Is Resistance Training and Why Do It?” (Strong in the Lord S1E3)

One of the ways we can improve our physical fitness and be better stewards of our health is a form of exercise called Resistance Training.  During this episode, Gary will briefly review some terminology related to Resistance Training, the benefits of this type of exercise, and a few practical tips on how to do it.  

Before starting any exercise program, especially if you haven’t been active recently, it’s good to discuss work-out plans with a doctor to ensure your body’s able to do it.  There are many exercise options available; if you’re planning to take some extra time to devote to your health, use some of that time to consult with a physician.
