- No one could curse like the Israelites. Their prayer life shows how sensitive their conscience was toward the sins of the nations around them—at least when they were being oppressed by those same nations. In Psalm 5, David calls for God to render his vengeance upon the wicked. This prayer should change how we look at sin—and how we worship.
