• The historical record mentions a number of things that happen in the biblical text. Sometimes, what the historical record leaves out is just as important as what it includes. This is the case for an ancient artifact known as Sennacherib’s Prism. It mentions events that occur in Isaiah 36-37, but it leaves out one key detail: the fall of Jerusalem. We will find out what this means in today’s episode.
